How much does this cost?

Our charges are a subject for individual discussion because no two client’s needs are identical. The fee structure will comprise:

Initial non-refundable registration fee

Payable upon confirmation that you wish us to act for you, the registration fee is normally for a search period of up to six months for property purchase. For property to rent , an eight week search period is normally adequate.

If you require a longer initial period, we are happy to negotiate something more suitable.

Success Fee

This is payable upon exchange of contracts on your purchase. It will normally be based on a percentage of the purchase price, although the initial registration fee will be deducted from the final amount.

For rented property, the success fee becomes payable upon your signing the tenancy agreement, and is normally the equivalent of one and a half month’s rent for tenancies lasting up to one year. Different arrangements normally apply for tenancies lasting longer than one year. Please contact us to discuss.

Value for money

Our fees often become almost ‘self funding’ when you consider the likely saving on the purchase price of a property, just by having a professional acting solely for you at this important stage of moving home.
